I’ve been using Neat Video mostly in Premiere, and overall it’s been a really easy fit with how I already edit. I can open it right from the timeline, clean up a noisy clip, save the profile, and keep moving without feeling like I’m switching between a bunch of different tools.

The only thing I was kind of expecting was clearer instructions when I first started using it. It’s not impossible to figure out, but a little more guidance up front would have made the setup and profiling process feel less like trial and error.

Renders do take some time, but that’s normal for noise reduction, so I wasn’t too surprised. Once I got comfortable with it, it’s been reliable, straightforward, and a solid part of my editing workflow

It only took me a few minutes to figure out, and it works fine overall. I just wish the experience felt a little more responsive, because at times it kind of felt like I was being ignored.

I did notice my renders getting faster, so that part is nice. But... yeah, my GPU still struggles here and there, especially on heavier projects. It helps, just not as much as I was hoping

Getting it installed took longer than I expected. Like, it wasn’t impossible or anything, but it was slow, slow enough to get annoying.

The presets are fine and easy enough to use, but I was kind of in a rush and the profiles felt a bit fiddly. I had to stop and figure out what was going on, which was a little frustrating

Right away I felt like this was way too expensive for what it actually does. Maybe I judged it fast, but after trying it, I still don’t think it’s worth the price

The new version feels way faster than before. I used to get crashes often, but now it’s been running a lot smoother for me. Defintely a big improvment.

I tried Neat Video on a few low-light clips I had, it cleaned them up a lot more than I expected. The noise in the darker areas was rough before, but after playing with the settings a bit, the footage looked way smoother without turning all mushy or losing too much detail. It does take a while to render, so that’s something to keep in mind, but there’s just something about it that makes the final result feel much more polished. Definitely handy if you’re always dealing with grainy footage

I’ve had a decent experience with this plugin overall. It does what it’s supposed to do, but I’ve noticed it doesn’t play nicely with all of my editors, and support from my host has been a bit hit or miss. When it works, it’s great, but the inconsistency leaves me feeling a little frustrated...

I tried Neat Video on a few noisy clips, and while it did reduce the noise, it also made everything look way too soft. Faces started looking kind of waxy, and little textures got mushy fast. To be fair, maybe I didn’t dial in the settings perfectly, but I’m glad I tested it on copies first instead of messing with my original footage. For my clips, it just took away too much fine detail

The plugin itself is good and works fine, but support wasn't no fast help. I had to wait a few days to hear back, which was frustrating.

Neat Video does a solid job cleaning up noise. I’ve used it on a few clips now, and the results are good. The only thing that bugs me is the render time. Even on my fairly decent PC, it takes way longer than I expected. So yeah, it’s definitely usable, but I wouldn’t call it fast. Hopefully they can improve the performance in future updates

I’ve been using Neat Video for a while now, it’s been great. It runs smoothly in my editor and hasn’t randomly crashed on me, which is always a win. The settings took a little time to figure out, but once I got the hang of it, it’s been super reliable for my video work...

I bought the plugin thinking I’d be up and running quickly, but I feel like I spent more time dealing with the license and activation stuff than actually using it. Maybe I missed something obvious, but moving it to another machine was confusing, and the website didn’t really make it clear what I was supposed to do. For paid software, it just felt outdated to me. I’m not sure, maybe it works fine if you only install it once and never touch it again, but for me it wasn’t worth the hassle.
